Pay Rate: $40/hr to $50/hr

Birch Agency is currently seeking two certified Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year! These positions are for high school level placements, supporting students in English and Science within co-taught and cross-categorical classrooms.
Position Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher with Birch Agency, you will play a vital role in supporting high school students with diverse learning needs. You’ll work collaboratively with general education teachers in inclusive classrooms, ensuring access to curriculum, individualized instruction, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide instruction in English and/or Science in a co-taught high school setting
Implement and support IEP goals and accommodations
Collaborate with general education staff, support staff, and families
Use differentiated instruction strategies to meet student needs in a cross-categorical environment
Track and report student progress and maintain special education records
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific)
Experience in high school settings preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies based on student needs
Background in English or Science education is a plus
